The largest vanadium redox flow battery energy storage power station in China has been put into full
Release time:2026.01.05 Number of views:20

The power station, located in Jimsar County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, boasts a rated power of 200,000 kilowatts and an energy storage capacity of 1 million kilowatt-hours. It is currently the largest vanadium redox flow battery energy storage power station in operation in China.
During the daytime, when photovoltaic panels receive the most abundant sunlight and generate electricity at the highest efficiency, the power station can store the excess electricity that cannot be consumed by the grid in a timely manner and release it at night or during peak electricity consumption periods. It is expected to increase the utilization rate of the project's supporting photovoltaic power station by more than 10% annually, and generate up to 230 million kWh of clean electricity.
