The research team conducted on-site visits to the battery stack assembly workshop and the battery stack testing platform to gain a detailed understanding of the process flow and technical advantages, and fully affirmed the efficient promotion and standardized management of the project.

The research team pointed out that the all vanadium flow battery, as an important technological route for large-scale long-term energy storage, is a key lever for Shanxi Province to implement the "dual carbon" strategy, deepen the energy revolution, and build a new energy system. It has important strategic significance for enhancing the region's ability to independently guarantee energy.

The project will be implemented in two phases: the first phase will invest 658 million yuan to build a 300MW annual capacity all vanadium flow battery stack production line and supporting facilities; The second phase investment is 1.2 billion yuan to build a 100MW/400MWh all vanadium flow battery shared energy storage power station. At present, the project has entered the substantive construction stage, and core projects such as the automated production line of the fuel cell stack and the distributed power generation system have successively completed bidding.
