On March 22nd, according to the Xiangyang Integrated Media Center, the production line of 1GWh vanadium electrolyte and the 100 megawatt hour new energy storage power station project of Dali Energy Storage are accelerating their production pace. It is expected that the second 100 megawatt stack automation production line will be put into operation in April.
The following is a follow-up report by a reporter from Hanshui Xiangyang Integrated Media Center on the second 100MW stack automation production line at Dali Energy Storage.
Host: New energy storage is a key supporting technology for promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of energy. At present, the large-scale energy storage production line with an annual output of 1GWh vanadium electrolyte and the 100 megawatt hour new energy storage power station project are accelerating their production pace. It is expected that the second 100 MW automated production line for fuel cells will be put into operation in April, injecting strong momentum into our city's new energy storage battery industry.
Reporter: Look at the blue box next to me called a single cell battery stack, which is actually like a large power bank that can achieve high safety and long life. It is very flexible to configure like building blocks. The battery module composed of these 15 battery stacks has a power of 500 kilowatts, which can meet the electricity needs of 100 households at the same time.
Host: In the Dali Energy Storage Production Workshop, their independently developed automated production line for fuel cells is very impressive, with an annual production capacity of up to 100 megawatts.
Nie Jinsong, Production Manager of Dali Energy Storage: We have achieved automatic online inspection of raw materials for fuel cells, including our automated assembly process, zero error, and precise production. Each production line requires more than 50% optimized manpower, and the production efficiency can reach two hours to produce a single fuel cell stack.
Host: In order to promote the rapid production of the new energy storage power station project in Zaoyang, Dadi Energy Storage is vigorously replicating the second 100 MW automated production line for fuel cells.
Pan Dong, Deputy Director of Dali Energy Storage Engineering Center: Currently, we have entered the stage of equipment installation and commissioning. The civil engineering of the energy storage power station has been fully completed, and the geological survey of the external engineering has been completed. We are also entering the stage of equipment procurement and installation. The plan is to complete the second production line for it in April, ensuring the grid connection and production by the end of June.
Host: Seize the trend of new energy development. In recent years, our city has vigorously developed the new energy and new materials industry with energy storage batteries as the focus. As one of the 21 pilot demonstration projects for new energy storage power stations at the provincial level, after the Dali Zaoyang all vanadium flow battery energy storage power station is connected to the grid and put into operation, it will further transform advanced energy storage technology from scientific research achievements into new quality intelligent productivity, improve the energy storage industry chain, and promote the development of long-term energy storage industry such as flow batteries.
Shi Xiaohu, General Manager of Dali Energy Storage: At the beginning of the year, we have nearly 300 million orders for electrolytes. At the same time, we will deliver high-quality energy storage power stations first. Currently, the 50 MW two-hour Zaoyang Energy Storage Power Station project will become the largest vanadium flow energy storage demonstration power station and benchmark project in Central China after completion. This project will drive the deep processing of vanadium resources in Xiangyang and surrounding areas, as well as create a vanadium energy storage industry chain.
