Equity information shows that resource company Phenom Resources holds a 5% stake in MK Plus, closely following the company’s technological evolution and overseas industrialization progress. This government funding will primarily support MK Plus’s battery production base in Sweden, advancing facility development, production line upgrades, and capacity expansion. Currently, equipment installation and commissioning are underway at this overseas manufacturing plant. According to project plans, the facility is scheduled to officially commence operations this fall, delivering commercial vanadium solid-state batteries to customers in Europe and the Middle East, marking a critical leap from technology development to localized mass production abroad.

On the business front, MK Plus is expanding into global markets under its commercial brand "Vanadis Energy." Vanadium solid-state batteries offer high safety and long cycle life, making them well-suited for diverse applications such as grid peak shaving and energy storage for renewable power systems. They precisely address the growing global demand for safe, long-life energy storage solutions. The company has already secured a number of potential customer leads from Europe and the Middle East.

Phenom Resources stated it will continue to provide regular updates to the capital market and shareholders on MK Plus’s latest developments regarding construction progress at the Swedish plant, product delivery, and international business expansion. As Europe accelerates its energy transition and domestic energy storage capacity gaps widen, the launch of MK Plus’s production line in Sweden will add a new vanadium-based solid-state battery manufacturing capability to the Nordic energy storage industry ecosystem.
