Huantai New Vanadium Company has a production capacity of 20,000 cubic meters per year.
With rigorous quality control standards and advanced full-electrolysis technology, the electrolyte products produced by Huantai New Vanadium have been widely recognized by numerous users in the industry in terms of core indicators such as charge-discharge capacity, resistance to degradation, and high and low temperature stability.
The fully electrolytic process adopted by the company utilizes high-purity vanadium, high-purity sulfuric acid, and pure water as the sole raw and auxiliary materials. Throughout the entire process, there is no introduction or residual presence of any exogenous substances such as organic compounds or reducing agents, ensuring the high purity of the electrolyte from its very source.
Meanwhile, the electrolysis process itself is also a kind of "activation" of the electrolyte, making its performance more stable and reliable. Compared to traditional processes such as oxalic acid reduction, this technical route completely avoids direct emissions of carbon dioxide, making it more environmentally friendly.
In 2025, as the first year of production, the company successfully applied over 10,000 cubic meters of electrolyte products to multiple large and medium-sized energy storage power stations in Yunnan, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Qinghai, Shandong, and other regions. The delivered products received zero complaints and were highly praised by users.
Taking the 100MW/400MWh full-vanadium redox flow shared energy storage project in Lufeng, Yunnan as an example, the electrolyte provided by Huantai New Vanadium is significantly superior to the national first-grade standard in terms of impurity element control, effectively supporting the long-term reliable operation of the strategic partner's battery system. It has helped the project enhance the grid's ability to absorb renewable energy and received positive feedback from customers.
As the largest vanadium electrolyte R&D and manufacturing base in the northwest region, Huantai New Vanadium continuously promotes technological upgrading and process iteration, and is committed to providing customers with high-performance vanadium electrolyte in sulfuric acid system with a concentration range of 1.6-1.8 mol/L. At the beginning of 2026, the company successfully secured the first large-scale 6-hour discharge energy storage project order in the northwest region, with an electrolyte demand of nearly 4,000 cubic meters, laying a solid foundation for market expansion in the new year.
