Towards internationalization: laying out the "Eastern Silicon Valley" and strengthening global service capabilities
The new factory is located in Penang, Malaysia, a technology hub known as the "Silicon Valley of the East". It is an important strategic node for Jingsheng Electromechanical to build a localized production system for the world. The strong support provided by the Malaysian government in the field of high-tech manufacturing, as well as the well-established semiconductor industry chain foundation in Penang, have created an ideal environment for the implementation of the SuperSiC project.
The new factory covers a total area of about 40000 square meters, and the project is about to start construction. After the first phase is completed, it can achieve an annual production capacity of 240000 8-inch silicon carbide substrates, which will significantly improve Jingsheng's delivery efficiency and local service capabilities in the global market.
Ecological Co construction: Creating Green Manufacturing Demonstration Projects
The SuperSiC Malaysia project not only focuses on capacity improvement, but also emphasizes sustainable development and social responsibility fulfillment. In the construction process, we will implement the concept of green manufacturing, pay attention to employee welfare, environmental protection, and community building, and strive to create a green benchmark project in China Malaysia industrial cooperation.
According to the supporting plan, the factory will be equipped with advanced equipment for silicon carbide crystal growth, cutting, polishing and other processes, forming a complete manufacturing process from raw materials to wafers, and helping Jingrui SuperSiC build a globally efficient supply network.
Speech from various sectors: Highly praised by Chinese and Malaysian governments and enterprises
The groundbreaking ceremony attracted extensive participation from political, industrial, and international client representatives.
His Excellency Zhou Youbin, Consul General of China in Penang, pointed out that the landing of this project is a vivid manifestation of the deepening development of China Malaysia industrial cooperation. He hopes that enterprises can seize the development opportunity of the "golden 50 years" and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Charmaine Sheh, stated that the Jingrui SuperSiC project will further promote Malaysia's international influence in the high-end manufacturing sector and consolidate its position as a hub for the Asian semiconductor industry.
Dato 'Sri Lanka, CEO of Invest Penang, emphasized that the implementation of this project will strengthen the depth and breadth of Penang's semiconductor ecosystem, attracting more high-value manufacturing investments.
Enterprise Voice: Localized Production, Serving Global Customers
Dr. Cao Jianwei, Chairman of Jingsheng Electromechanical, stated in his speech that Jingsheng has always adhered to innovation driven and customer-oriented principles for 19 years. The launch of SuperSiC Malaysia factory is a key milestone in the company's globalization strategy and has opened a new chapter of deep collaboration with the Southeast Asian semiconductor industry chain.
He pointed out that SuperSiC will take this factory construction as an opportunity to further connect with global customers, improve response speed, and jointly build a green intelligent manufacturing ecosystem through technology output and local cooperation, providing global customers with higher quality, efficient, and sustainable products and services.
With the start of the construction of a new factory in Malaysia, Jingsheng Electromechanical is accelerating the creation of a diversified, flexible, and green global supply chain system. In the trend of global power semiconductor materials increasingly transitioning to silicon carbide, the SuperSiC project is not only an expansion of production capacity, but also a microcosm of China's transition from manufacturing to global intelligent manufacturing.
