It is a great honor for the Standardization Committee to give Kerun this opportunity to gather with you in Nanping, Fujian, at such a warm spring of flow batteries and a critical moment in the development of the industry. Here, I would like to extend my sincere greetings to all the experts and colleagues who have come from afar. Everyone is tired of traveling and working hard

Kerun has three major bases: Suzhou, Huai'an, and Nanping. Among them, Nanping Resin Base, as the "strategic core" of the group, is our "key facility" in the field of perfluorinated ion membranes. Choosing Nanping as the venue for this conference is not only due to its picturesque scenery and cultural heritage, but also because the Nanping Municipal Government has created a business environment for enterprises that is as good as fish in water, thanks to the sincere support of Zhou Gong. It is on such fertile ground that Fujian Kerun has created the "Kerun speed" in the fluorine chemical industry. We are willing to take the responsibility of local enterprises to build a bridge between the liquid flow battery industry and the development of Nanping, allowing the roots of technology to deeply penetrate northern Fujian and the tree of industry to flourish.  

Looking back on the industry journey, I have been involved in the entrepreneurship of liquid flow batteries for 17 years since graduation. From the blue thread of the road to the beginning of scale, from more than 20 peers who are as few as morning stars, to the flourishing scene of hundreds of schools of thought competing today, we have witnessed every leap in the industry. I still remember nine years ago, when Kerun first hosted a standardization committee event in Nanjing, the industry was still in its infancy; And today's grand event is a witness to the 'spark igniting the prairie'.   

We deeply understand that the vigorous development of the industry cannot be separated from the adherence of the Standardization Committee to "keep the torch running". As the only official industry standard organization at the national level, the Standardization Committee has built a "stormy" harbor for colleagues during the most difficult times of the industry. As a material supplier, Kerun is even more grateful for the trust of our "golden friends" present here. It is precisely because of this support that we can fulfill the "Five Year Promise" made at the 2019 Suzhou Annual Conference - to achieve the localization of the entire industry chain of perfluorinated ion membranes. Nowadays, Fujian Kerun has built the world's largest actual production capacity of sulfonic acid resin production base, becoming the only enterprise in the industry with an annual supply capacity of millions of square meters. This is not only a milestone for Kerun, but also a fruit of the industrial chain's "united efforts". The Standardization Committee is the leading and coordinating organization for liquid flow industry standards. The guests and experts present here include our clients and colleagues. We believe that cooperation and competition are the key to becoming an industry, and the industry can grow bigger and the cake can thrive.

Today's colleagues present are either partners or mentors in the industry. However, as the saying goes, 'it is difficult for those who stand alone to rise up, but it is easy for others to follow.' Only through the coexistence of competition and cooperation can we create the 'spring flowers and autumn fruits' of the industry. On the occasion of the standard formulation, I sincerely hope that all experts can adopt a "gentleman's harmony in diversity" mindset, be rigorous and inclusive, understand, remind and support each other, and jointly promote the standardization, scale and industrialization of flow batteries, so that the names of every participant can be engraved on the monument of industry development.  

Finally, as the host, we would like to express our gratitude once again to the Nanping Municipal Government for their strong support, and to the Standards Committee and all the experts for their willingness to come from afar. May the fragrance of tea and the green mountains in Nanping leave you with unforgettable memories.
